About the position

The Marketing Product Manager will be part of a Product Marketing team focused on two large game studios, working on AAA games and life-services games. This role is crucial for executing and sourcing partnerships that amplify product marketing efforts, especially in light of upcoming major launches. The position involves extensive collaboration with various teams, including partner/license teams and console teams, to create pitch materials, negotiate contracts, and track the effectiveness of marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data
  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals
  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data
  • Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies

Requirements

  • BA degree (minimum) in a related field is required; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • 10+ years of Partner Marketing experience
  • 8+ years of Gaming or Entertainment industry experience
  • 8+ years of experience working with and presenting to Executives using Powerpoint
  • Partnership experience as well as product marketing experience in the gaming or entertainment industry
