About the position

The Marketing Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing strategies and initiatives related to deposit acquisition, deepening, and retention for consumer banking, wealth, and commercial banking across various channels of the Bank. This role involves researching, recommending, and executing marketing programs that align with the Bank's goals for deposit production and balance growth. The Marketing Product Manager will analyze consumer behavior, market demands, and competitive landscapes to devise effective marketing strategies and tactics aimed at enhancing deposits and wealth management services. Regular insights on the results of deposit and wealth marketing efforts will be provided to ensure alignment with the Bank's objectives. In this position, the Marketing Product Manager will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies for consumer, small business, wealth, and commercial deposit products and services. This includes designing and executing marketing campaigns to drive new household acquisitions and deepen existing relationships. Collaboration with various teams, including training, communication, and sales, is essential to ensure successful execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. The role also requires partnering with risk and compliance teams to create necessary marketing disclosures for deposit products and services. The Marketing Product Manager will serve as a subject matter expert for all marketing materials and programs related to deposit products and services, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance marketing reporting and tracking in collaboration with data analytics and business lines. This position will also involve managing third-party relationships with vendors related to deposit marketing and ensuring compliance with various regulatory audits. The Marketing Product Manager will prepare annual marketing plans, provide updates to senior management, and monitor assigned goals to adjust marketing strategies as needed to meet objectives and budget constraints. Participation in community and educational activities for business development and promoting the Bank's image is also a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies for consumer, small business, wealth, and commercial deposit products and services.
  • Design and execute marketing strategies to drive new household acquisition and deepen existing household relationships.
  • Collaborate with training, communication, and sales teams to coordinate product marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Partner with risk and compliance to create marketing disclosures for deposit products and services.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for marketing materials related to deposit products and services.
  • Enhance deposit marketing reporting and tracking in partnership with data analytics and business lines.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral materials for employees and customers in collaboration with various teams.
  • Stay informed about changes to deposit products and services and take appropriate action in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Design and execute marketing campaign methodologies and mediums in partnership with external agencies and internal teams.
  • Manage third-party relationships with deposit marketing vendors to execute marketing strategies.
  • Research enhancements with existing vendors and opportunities with new vendors to improve deposit marketing programs.
  • Fulfill various annual compliance or regulatory audits in partnership with risk and compliance teams.
  • Prepare annual deposit marketing plans and provide updates for senior management.
  • Provide input for marketing efforts related to new branch openings or market expansions.
  • Manage product line marketing budgets to operate within annual plans.
  • Participate in continuing education to gain insights and inspire innovation.
  • Engage in community, civic, and educational activities for business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Ten plus years of general experience required.
  • Five to ten years of specialized experience required, including knowledge of the banking industry, customer strategies, and project management.
