About the position

Sotheby's International Realty Inc.'s Hamptons, NY offices are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to oversee the marketing and advertising operations specifically for the Hamptons market. This role is crucial in promoting the brand and ensuring that marketing strategies align with the needs of local agents and the overall objectives of the company. The ideal candidate will possess a reliable, personable, team-oriented, and professional disposition, with a strong attention to detail and a passion for working collaboratively with people and teams. An interest in the real estate industry is essential, as this position requires an in-person presence to effectively engage with agents and clients. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for understanding and promoting the value of the brand's marketing options, recommending innovative strategies to enhance the success rate for agents, and collaborating with the marketing team, Regional Marketing Director, and brokerage manager. This includes enhancing existing agent programs and creating custom initiatives tailored to specific needs. The role also involves acting as a liaison to support brand messages and objectives, providing daily support to agents, and assisting with the customization and use of marketing materials. In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will facilitate the launch of properties on the company-wide websites by creating promotional materials, including social media content, property brochures, and marketing reports. The position requires the creation of both digital and print marketing materials for agents, such as newsletters and postcards, while ensuring quality and accuracy in all local marketing materials. The coordinator will also maintain the brokerage's branded website and social media accounts, track marketing activities and expenses, and assist in onboarding new agents and staff as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and promote the value and applicability of the brand/company marketing options.
  • Recommend fresh strategies to increase success rate for agents.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, Regional Marketing Director, and brokerage manager to enhance existing agent programs and create custom initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison supporting brand and company messages with local agents.
  • Provide daily agent support and aid with customization and use of marketing materials.
  • Facilitate the launch of properties on the company-wide websites by creating promotional materials.
  • Create digital and print marketing materials for agents to self-promote.
  • Lead the team to achieve local marketing objectives, including assembling ads and promoting listings.
  • Maintain familiarity with company and brand internet content updates and guide agents to appropriate resources.
  • Introduce and educate agents in new and existing programs and initiatives.
  • Present at brokerage sales meetings as appropriate.
  • Maintain and update the brokerage branded website and social media accounts.
  • Interact with Corporate Marketing Team and Public Relations Team.
  • Track marketing activities and expenses.
  • Assist in the operation of the office/marketing department as assigned.

Requirements

  • Real estate experience preferred, but not required.
  • 4 Year Degree strongly preferred; relevant real estate marketing or support experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in a marketing, advertising agency, or similar acceptable transferable skilled real estate position is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Basic knowledge of EELI and other real estate databases is a plus.
  • Must be tech-savvy and extremely proficient with graphic design and print advertising experience.
  • Experience with brand social media management is required.
  • Ability to multi-task with exceptional communication, interpersonal, organization, and design program skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information and communicate intended messages in various group settings.
  • Must be extremely organized, creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently while managing a heavy workload.

  • Experience in real estate marketing or support roles.
