About the position

The Marketing Program Manager will work with the AMR team to establish the vision and roadmap for the Today in the Mid region, focusing on programming for small to medium businesses. This role involves leading culturally relevant and strategic in-store content, collaborating with various teams, and managing relationships with external partners to enhance programming initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and roadmap for Today in the Mid region.
  • Lead programming focused on small to medium businesses.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business to lead strategic in-store content.
  • Partner with client Retail field leadership on a regional level.
  • Collaborate with Chicago Today at client programming teams.
  • Identify new opportunities and write program briefs aligned with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners in cultural sectors.
  • Contribute to cultural observations and programming content as part of a global team.
  • Lead communication with Store Operations, Comms, and PR teams.
  • Conceptualize and execute in-store programs with talent support.
  • Hire external production vendors as needed.
  • Liaise with Business Affairs on contracts and content creation.
  • Pitch and present ideas to diverse audiences through storytelling.
  • Leverage performance metrics for tracking and reporting program results.
  • Flex and support across projects as needed.
  • Maintain and report programming budgets.

Requirements

  • Experience in program management within marketing or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of retail and cultural programming.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and external partnerships.
  • Proficiency in leveraging performance metrics for program evaluation.
