About the position

The Marketing Project Coordinator at HMG Strategy is responsible for managing multiple marketing projects, including onboarding sponsorship vendors, overseeing newsletter campaigns, and maintaining event registration processes. This role requires daily presence in the Westport, CT office and involves significant collaboration with event sponsors and internal teams to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives and events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects including onboarding sponsorship vendors and managing weekly newsletter campaigns.
  • Oversee the registration process on the Cvent application for event registrations, run daily reports on registration numbers, and create event pages.
  • Collaborate with list providers to clean up data lists.
  • Travel to in-person events as a CRM and supporting team member, with travel expectations up to 50%.
  • Create digital venues on the event platform, ensuring consistency across projects.
  • Maintain project, campaign, and event calendars, tracking creative projects for timely review and execution.
  • Work directly with event sponsors, reporting on attendance numbers and ensuring KPIs are met.
  • Manage daily reporting and aggregation for team KPI reports.
  • Assist with website updates and maintenance.
  • Prepare marketing materials for events, including PowerPoint presentations and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct general research to support content development and marketing events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or an analytics-related discipline.
  • Interest in current and innovative B2B marketing strategies across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools, with Marketing Cloud and Salesforce being a plus.
  • Experience using social media networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
  • Experience in Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill key takeaways quickly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities.
