About the position

The Marketing Operations team at KeyBank plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of marketing programs across all lines of business and client segments. The Project Coordinator position is an individual contributor role that focuses on managing the flow of creative and digital projects from inception to completion. This includes ensuring that all materials adhere to brand guidelines, compliance standards, and the specific requirements of various lines of business. The Project Coordinator will primarily collaborate with internal creative and production teams to facilitate the completion of these projects, which may span digital, print, and other channels. In this role, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for receiving project requests through the internal Workfront tool, ensuring that all necessary specifications are included, and addressing any gaps in information. They will assign requests to the appropriate internal teams, including design, copywriting, web content, and HTML specialists, and will ensure that compliance approvals are obtained as needed. The Project Coordinator will work closely with team members to resolve any issues that arise, ensuring that projects are completed within the established timeframes and align with business objectives. The position requires a proactive approach to project management, with an emphasis on following established processes while also seeking innovative solutions to enhance team performance. The Project Coordinator will be expected to demonstrate consistent improvements in performance year over year and will actively participate in team sessions and projects led by others. Effective communication and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders, including marketing, creative services, external agencies, product management, and compliance teams, are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Traffic digital projects from request to completion.
  • Assign and manage creative projects from request to completion.
  • Receive requests through the internal Workfront tool and ensure all required specifications are included.
  • Resolve any gaps in information for project requests.
  • Assign requests to necessary internal design, copywriting, web content, HTML, and other team members.
  • Ensure necessary compliance approvals are obtained for projects.
  • Work with team members to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of requests.
  • Partner with project team members to ensure work is completed on time and meets expectations.
  • Ensure project scope aligns with stated business goals.
  • Follow established processes and seek new ways to improve work efficiency.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Bring an innovation mindset to enhance overall team performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including marketing, creative services, and compliance teams.
  • Participate actively in team sessions and projects led by others.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in advertising agency, marketing project management, or related fields.
  • Experience in traditional and digital creative development processes.
  • Proven relationship-building skills with internal team members and external agencies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong client focus, efficiency, and timely delivery of projects.
  • Ability to solve problems and escalate issues as necessary.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 annually depending on location and experience.
  • Eligibility for short-term incentive compensation.
  • Deferred incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.
