About the position

The Marketing Project Manager and AdTeam Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Marketing and Communication department at Troy University. This position is responsible for maintaining workflows and ensuring the integration of all marketing and related communication initiatives. The individual will coordinate efforts for the department's student intern group, identifying innovative strategies to enhance engagement and streamline processes. The role involves managing both short and long-term projects, assisting with logistics, and coordinating the department's metrics reporting. This includes compiling data, writing summaries, and preparing executive reports to communicate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. In addition to project management, the Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for managing and updating web and electronic advertisements, assisting with external partnerships, and coordinating the production of presentations. The individual will also attend meetings to represent the marketing department and ensure that deliverables are trafficked efficiently within a higher education marketing environment. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain workflows and integration for all Marketing and related communication initiatives.
  • Coordinate efforts for Marketing's student intern group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business or closely related area of study.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.
  • Ability to independently write reports suitable for an executive audience.
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid state driver's license.

  • Five or more years of related experience.
  • Experience with presentation creation and delivery.
