About the position

The Marketing Project Manager Specialist will oversee the development, management, and communication of project timelines for a Fortune 200 client. This role involves collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure project success, utilizing Agile principles, and managing a variety of marketing projects across different mediums including print, digital, and experiential marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and communicate holistic project timelines to internal and external teams regularly.
  • Create and manage all project timelines.
  • Organize and set up kickoffs, collaborations, and presentations.
  • Lead both internal and brand status meetings.
  • Lead daily standup meetings (Kanban).
  • Manage and recommend process optimizations using Agile principles.
  • Share and celebrate projects, leading retrospective sessions and suggesting ways to instill learnings within the department and across disciplines.
  • Act as a cross-functional hub for all project executions, partnering closely with internal and external partners to ensure overall project success.
  • Manage high volume, quick turn projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand multiple aspects of production from print, digital, experiential, and content.
  • Manage the production phase of most projects, once key creative and copy has been approved.
  • Consider the full scope of projects, beyond simply managing timelines, and how the pieces work together.
  • Think strategically about communications and the implications of choices being made regarding the consumer journey/experience.
  • Take ownership of project efficiency and understand project processes.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of internal and external partner processes.
  • Manage all production-related requests from the internal team, clients, or meta-agency partners.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Marketing/Advertising agency project management role.
  • Demonstrated ability of past contributions to client businesses in an agency service environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Agency experience is a plus.
