About the position

The Marketing & Property Operations Manager at The Dermot Company is responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the Florida corporate office and property initiatives. This role encompasses various aspects of the business, including marketing, events, property management, and leasing, with a direct impact on the company's growth goals. The manager will collaborate across departments and manage both routine and ad hoc projects, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general operations and property initiatives by completing routine and ad hoc administrative tasks and projects.
  • Plan and run both property and team events, serving as the primary project manager and contact for those events.
  • Collaborate with leasing teams on leasing and marketing efforts, including accurate property listings and engaging social media posts.
  • Proactively work with various teams, particularly in high-demand situations that require an all-hands-on-deck approach.
  • Improve processes and systems to drive efficiency in office and property operations.
  • Participate in technology platform testing and implementation as assigned.
  • Assist with purchasing and sourcing various vendors for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the liaison between office and property teams, including leasing & marketing and event teams for the Florida team.
  • Promote positive, timely, and effective communication within Florida operations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of events, marketing, and property operations experience, ideally in the real estate industry; luxury multifamily asset experience is strongly preferred.
  • Four-year undergraduate degree.
  • Skilled in project management and thrives in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and social trends.
  • Tech-savvy; proficient in Google & MS Office Suite and various software and technology.
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Meticulous, curious, and proactive approach to work.
  • Graphic/creative design skills preferred.
