About the position

The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator at KCI Technologies Inc. plays a crucial role in leading pursuit teams to develop proposals and presentations that secure projects across various service lines. This position requires a strong understanding of the proposal/procurement process within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, as well as excellent time management skills to handle multiple pursuits simultaneously. The coordinator will work closely with technical teams to present the firm's qualifications effectively and contribute to KCI's continuous growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead various pursuit teams in developing proposals and presentations.
• Read RFQ/P documents thoroughly and prepare proposal checklists.
• Demonstrate experience with a CRM database, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, Unanet, or Deltek Vision.
• Prepare presentations and coach technical teams for client interviews.
• Track future project leads and update information in the CRM database.
• Work with technical project managers to develop comprehensive materials highlighting KCI's staff and capabilities.
• Conduct background research and gather supporting materials.
• Provide quality control review of marketing peer proposals.
• Print, assemble, and ship proposals or prepare electronic submission files as needed.
• Coordinate with teaming partners and respond to external requests for proposal information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field preferred.
• Experience working within the architecture, engineering, construction, environmental, or similar industry.
• Demonstrated experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Understanding of the SF 330 / Architect-Engineer Qualifications process.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Unanet (Cosential), or Deltek Vision.
• DOT proposal experience is highly preferred.
