About the position

SynEnergy is a nationally recognized Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Design Firm located in Denver, Colorado, seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry, possessing a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. As a Marketing / Proposal Coordinator, you will serve as a brand ambassador, collaborating closely with the C-Suite and stakeholders to craft a compelling narrative for the company. Your storytelling abilities will be crucial in developing marketing initiatives and campaigns, producing events, and leveraging social media and digital marketing strategies. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the proposal process, which includes developing and customizing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) in both digital and print formats. You will work on an average of 3 to 6 proposals per week, taking the lead in drafting proposal responses and engaging with staff and management as necessary. Your role will also involve tracking marketing opportunities, managing proposal best practices, and ensuring timely delivery of all materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, and strong organizational skills. You will be expected to draft, edit, and proof various marketing collateral, ensuring that all content is comprehensive, competitive, and tailored to client needs. Additionally, you will create and manage social media campaigns, understand the vision of the CEO, and collaborate with internal and external team members to produce high-quality marketing materials, proposals, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting proposal responses and engaging staff and management as needed.
  • Managing the company proposal best practices and schedules for on-time delivery.
  • Creating and managing social media campaigns, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Tracking marketing opportunities and maintaining high organization.
  • Collaborating with internal and external team members to create content for marketing materials, proposals, brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
  • Drafting, editing, organizing, and proofreading various marketing collateral, including proposal content, project sheets, resumes, and interview presentations.
  • Conducting administrative duties and office manager duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing / proposal writing.
  • Preferred 5 years of marketing experience in the Architect / Engineering / Construction field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Canva.
  • Strong proofreading capabilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.
