About the position

The Marketing and Provider Relations position at United Medical Imaging Healthcare involves building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians and medical offices. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service to existing clients and ensuring effective communication between various departments to resolve service issues. The candidate will work primarily off-site and is expected to enhance referral volumes and maintain the company's image as a leader in healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve service issues relating to referring physicians, their staff, and patients.
• Provide turnkey services to referring physician offices by acting as a liaison between operations management, corporate management, and billing departments.
• Keep sales, operations, and radiologists updated on account issues and resolution status.
• Maintain special assignment accounts as directed by Operations.
• Assist the VP of Business Development to coordinate effective office visits to educate referring and new offices on enhancements and new studies.
• Increase referral percentages and word of mouth from existing and non-referring offices.
• Maintain the company's image in the community as cutting-edge experts.
• Effectively manage territory.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Good overall clerical skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with doctors, patients, vendors, peers, staff, and management.
• Current California driver's license and good driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of preparing and interpreting spreadsheets and reports.
• Managed care contracting experience is highly desirable.
• Good selling skills is highly desirable.
• Bilingual is a plus.
