About the position

The Marketing Pursuit Manager at STV INC is a pivotal role within the Construction Management group, focusing on leading and collaborating with pursuit teams to enhance strategic marketing efforts. This hybrid position allows for flexibility while engaging in diverse projects across various markets. The role emphasizes the importance of client relationships, strategic planning, and high-quality submissions to secure business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with pursuit team for pre-RFP/Q positioning, including competitor analysis and client needs assessment.
  • Participate in developing client plans to evolve long-term strategic relationships with clients.
  • Provide leadership for large, complex strategic pursuits, including multi-million-dollar design-builds.
  • Lead pursuit development meetings, including GO No GO and strategy updates.
  • Analyze RFQ/Ps and evaluate scope requirements for additional opportunities.
  • Coordinate with teaming partners to obtain critical materials for pursuits.
  • Tailor and develop creative, compelling non-technical narratives.
  • Prepare high-quality submissions and presentations for clients.
  • Storyboard pursuits in collaboration with graphic designers and technical staff.
  • Guide technical staff on the development of their technical narratives.
  • Drive color review meetings for content revisions and enhancements.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of submissions by proofing/editing documents.
  • Coordinate independent QC review to meet department quality standards.
  • Manage production process with marketing and graphics team.
  • Coach presenters on content development and presentation delivery.
  • Initiate client debriefs to integrate lessons learned into future submissions.
  • Work collaboratively with technical professionals to gain their trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in English or Liberal Arts.
  • Minimum 8 years of proposal management experience.
  • Experience with marketing in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Creative, self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong time management and research skills.
  • Excellent writing and grammatical skills with adaptability to industry-specific style guides.
  • Ability to manage concurrent assignments under strict deadlines.
  • Client-focused with a strong work ethic.
