About the position

The Marketing & Rental Coordinator will support the Digital Marketing Director and Promotions & Publicity Director in executing daily marketing tasks for live events. This hybrid role requires the candidate to be on-site a few times each month at Boston-area venues, while primarily working remotely. The ideal candidate should have a passion for live events and entertainment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and manage venue social media accounts for The Wilbur, Chevalier Theatre, & Bill Blumenreich Presents
  • Assist with content on venue websites
  • Manage and post in Facebook events for all promoter events
  • Act as a liaison between venue and local partners
  • Manage free listings in all show markets
  • Proof artwork, digital media, and physical show assets
  • Manage in-house venue posters
  • Assist with coordination of show presales and on-sales
  • Coordinate venue photographer payments and scheduling
  • Assist with venue membership communications
  • Build relationships with local influencers
  • Conduct grassroots marketing & community outreach
  • Engage in special creative projects such as social media growth campaigns and analytics
  • Coordinate and facilitate venue rental inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
  • 1-3 years of experience working in live events preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks
  • Creative individual with a forward-thinking mind for marketing
