About the position

The Marketing Retail Sales Rep, Machine Sales at Western States Equipment Company is responsible for delivering exceptional machine sales solutions to retail customers. This role emphasizes establishing strong partnerships with customers through both direct and indirect channels, ensuring a world-class customer experience. The representative will leverage dealership resources to identify and qualify machine sales opportunities while promoting safety and teamwork within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Promote safety and ensure a safe work environment for all employees, vendors, and clients.
  • Sell machine sales parts, service, labor, and generate machine and rental sales leads.
  • Employ sales tactics to effectively communicate the capabilities of Western States Equipment Company to customers.
  • Manage an assigned account base and utilize various communication channels to engage with customers.
  • Prospect unassigned customers and qualify leads to determine appropriate sales channels.
  • Document customer information and sales transactions using CRM tools.
  • Analyze customer data to identify upsell opportunities and enhance customer awareness of WSECO capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Machine Sales Marketing and other departments to coordinate customer sales and support.
  • Support and engage with Western States eCommerce platforms throughout the sales process.
  • Promote and manage marketing campaigns to drive business in assigned areas.
  • Convey customer expectations to internal teams to exceed customer experience standards.

Requirements

  • Basic technical skills to understand the scope of work and processes.
  • Ability to capture and interpret customer and equipment information.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with planning and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Experience in machine sales or related fields.
