About the position

The Marketing Sales Manager at Sinclair Broadcast Group is responsible for leading sales strategies and plans to achieve local sales goals. This role involves developing and supporting a cross-platform sales and marketing team, building client relationships, and managing sales operations to deliver effective results.

Responsibilities

• Lead client development activities and retention efforts to increase net promoter score and promote Sinclair as the partner of choice in the community for all local marketing needs.
• Deliver weekly revenue forecasts for digital and broadcast for current month +2 and be within +/- 2% in accuracy from the beginning to end of each month.
• Support revenue-generating activities and participate in sales calls and client meetings, providing timely feedback and coaching to the sales team.
• Display product expertise and hold the sales team accountable for developing their knowledge and skillset.
• Create action plans utilizing sales reports and analytics to inform business decisions and guide the sales team.
• Take ownership of ongoing talent development for the local team, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
• Monitor active campaigns and use performance dashboards in sales meetings to maximize revenue potential.
• Show creativity and business development thought leadership to inspire new ways of growing account lists.

• Technology adept and competent.
