About the position

The Marketing Sales Manager will lead the execution of sales strategies and plans to achieve local sales goals while developing and supporting a cross-platform sales and marketing team. This role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships, managing sales operations, and ensuring the team effectively delivers results in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client development activities and retention efforts to increase net promoter score.
  • Deliver weekly revenue forecasts for digital and broadcast, maintaining accuracy within +/- 2%.
  • Support revenue-generating activities and participate in sales calls and client meetings, providing feedback and coaching.
  • Exhibit mastery of sales tools and systems, holding the sales team accountable for their knowledge and skillset.
  • Create action plans using sales reports and analytics to inform business decisions and guide the sales team.
  • Oversee talent development for the local team, ensuring effective onboarding and knowledge transfer.
  • Monitor active campaigns and use performance dashboards to maximize revenue potential for clients.
  • Show creativity and thought leadership in business development to grow account lists and increase spending.

Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of cross-platform marketing solutions and sales methodologies.
  • Comprehensive awareness of industry terminology and digital nuances.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Aptitude for developing talent and helping others succeed.
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Technology adept and competent.
