About the position

Gridware is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Operations Manager to support both the marketing and sales departments. This role involves executing marketing campaigns, organizing events, and assisting in the development of internal sales structures to enhance outreach to key stakeholders in the energy and electric utility sector. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and passionate about promoting technology solutions for a sustainable future, while providing essential support to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, email marketing, and social media engagement.
  • Manage the development of marketing collateral and sales enablement tools.
  • Collaborate with sales to align marketing efforts, generate leads, and create supporting materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute both virtual and in-person events and activations, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and community outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information, create promotional materials, and develop engaging content.
  • Manage and maintain the marketing & sales calendar to ensure timely execution of campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other external partners to secure event resources and support.
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system of contacts and assist in nurturing those relationships.
  • Monitor and report on event outcomes and marketing campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Support the marketing & sales team with administrative tasks including budget tracking and invoicing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales & marketing, event planning, or a related role, preferably within the technology or energy sectors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, CRM systems, and event management software.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
