About the position

The Sample Coordinator (Marketing, Ecom and Photography Studio) plays a crucial role in the marketing and eCommerce production processes at Belk. This position requires close collaboration with the Sample Team Manager, Peer Sample Coordinators, Photography Studio Team, Digital Team, and Merchants to ensure the continuous accuracy and timely flow of samples used for advertising production, eCommerce production, and various other projects. The Sample Coordinator is responsible for identifying and processing all necessary assets and resources to meet project schedules effectively. In this role, the Sample Coordinator will streamline sample handling across multiple media channels, ensuring that samples are tracked and deadlines are met for availability on set. Proper sample management is essential, which includes barcoding samples submitted and validating style information assigned to the offer or shot in Workhorse. The Sample Coordinator will also capture thumbnail pictures for each sample submitted at Turn-In to ensure that the correct samples are photographed, thereby eliminating the need for reshoots. Maintaining organization in Sample Processing areas, both at Corporate and the Photography Studio, is another key responsibility. This includes processing outbound and inbound shipments, which involves scanning, boxing/unboxing, and sorting samples. The Sample Coordinator will ensure that corporate samples are returned to merchants on a weekly schedule. Additionally, they will play an active role in Marketing and Ecom Turn-Ins by receiving, processing, and resolving any discrepancies for all assets needed for each shot. Timely communication of any discrepancies or problems with samples to the Sample Manager is critical, especially regarding late and missing samples. The Sample Coordinator will also manage their Sample Queue to eliminate aged samples and ensure that rejected samples are communicated effectively. This position requires a solution-based approach to problem-solving in partnership with the Manager of the Marketing & Ecom Sample Team, and the Sample Coordinator will execute other projects as assigned by the Manager.

Responsibilities

Requirements
