Responsibilities

  • Draft promotional materials/collateral and special event invitations
  • Collaborate with operational departments to ensure execution of special events
  • Attend appropriate weekly and monthly meetings upon request
  • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing with any/all other projects as directed
  • Meet deadlines and timelines established by Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Manage and maintain database for fulfillment of direct mail and email campaigns within Brand guidelines
  • Collaborate on leisure package offers and fulfilling corresponding offers to media via C+R
  • Maintain press material, photo library and social media files in conjunction with Regional Director of e-Commerce
  • Handle gift certificates for charitable donations and maximize exposure
  • Support DOS and General Manager in community engagement efforts
  • Participate where appropriate in related trade civic/business related functions and as a representative of Pyramid and the promotion of the property or properties and/or the city/region
  • Provide analysis necessary to support the development of the annual business plan and ongoing measurement
  • Execute a results-driven social media strategy
  • Develop, create and curate engaging content for social media platforms
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content across multiple social media platforms and digital channels
  • Attend events and produce live social media content
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales & Marketing and PR company to create a social media calendar
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends
  • Drive social media strategy to generate online following and growth of all Facebook, Instagram and future social media accounts
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments as needed
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing of content creators & influencer marketing strategy

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years' experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
  • Direct experience using social media management tools (ie. Hey Orca, Hootsuite, Sprinklr)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
