About the position

The Marketing Specialist 3 - Regulatory Compliance Human Trafficking (HT) Outreach Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing outreach strategies aimed at raising awareness about human trafficking and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of human trafficking issues, regulatory frameworks, and effective marketing strategies to engage various stakeholders, including community organizations, law enforcement, and the general public. The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for creating educational materials, organizing community events, and collaborating with internal and external partners to promote awareness and prevention initiatives. In this role, the Outreach Coordinator will also analyze outreach efforts and assess their effectiveness in reaching target audiences. This includes gathering data, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to convey complex information in an accessible manner. Additionally, the Outreach Coordinator will be expected to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in human trafficking prevention and regulatory compliance, ensuring that all outreach efforts are aligned with current laws and guidelines. The position requires a proactive approach to building relationships with community stakeholders and a commitment to fostering a collaborative environment. The Outreach Coordinator will also be involved in training staff and volunteers on human trafficking issues and compliance requirements, ensuring that the organization is well-equipped to address these critical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in outreach, marketing, or community engagement.
  • Strong understanding of human trafficking issues and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in non-profit or community-based organizations.
