The role involves understanding marketing strategies, broadcast media, and digital marketing to effectively sell advertising services to local businesses. Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business accounts for broadcast and digital advertising services.
• Manage the flow of information between advertisers, agencies, and the station.
• Maximize advertising buys and revenue generation.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to advertisers and agencies, including market research and advertising strategies.
• Bring in new agency and direct accounts to the station.
• Complete necessary paperwork for accounts, including orders and client correspondence.
• Participate in training and conduct independent research to enhance knowledge.
• Monitor competitive media and report on market and account status.
• Generate revenue to meet budgetary requirements and build a book of business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred.
• 1 year of marketing experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong public speaking abilities.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and maintain a professional appearance.
