About the position

The Marketing Specialist at Hospitality Network, a division of Cox Business, plays a crucial role in supporting the growth of the business through strategic marketing initiatives and sales enablement programs. This position involves creating sales materials, managing social media strategies, overseeing website updates, and ensuring effective lead tracking and customer onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage sales materials for Hospitality Network and Cox Private Networks.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide insights and tools for effective prospect engagement.
  • Support convention center business including the Baltimore Convention Center and Las Vegas Convention Center.
  • Oversee website updates to reflect current products, services, and promotions.
  • Enhance site design, usability, and SEO to drive lead generation.
  • Analyze site performance and provide improvement recommendations.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to grow Hospitality Network's presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Schedule and manage content promoting services and engage with followers.
  • Work with operations to support customer onboarding with clear communication and educational content.
  • Create guides, tutorials, and FAQs for smooth adoption of Blueprint's technology.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through case studies.
  • Manage lead tracking processes to ensure follow-up on leads from various sources.
  • Collaborate with sales on email campaigns and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Analyze and refine lead generation efforts for better results.
  • Allocate and manage the marketing budget across various activities and track expenses.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective marketing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or 4 years' experience in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce or other CRM, and email marketing tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
