About the position

The Marketing Specialist at Intoxalock, a subsidiary of Mindr, is responsible for managing trade shows, events, and marketing campaigns that align with the company's strategic goals. This hybrid/remote position focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing Mindr's participation in industry-related trade shows and events, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and driving ROI through impactful campaigns. The role involves collaboration with internal teams and representing Mindr at various industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Manages, prioritizes and plans Mindr's trade show calendar, attendees, budgeting, booths, materials and any additional events or sponsorships.
  • Discover and register for tradeshows and events that maximize ROI and align with OST strategy.
  • Works effectively across teams, ensuring alignment with stakeholders in Outside Sales, Compliance, Legal and Service Center teams regarding events and tradeshows.
  • Plans, coordinates and executes pre- and post-show direct response, email, phone and online campaigns to recruit, retain and motivate affiliate partners, service centers and other B2B targets.
  • Gathers and reports key data regarding sponsored trade shows, events and competitors to senior leadership.
  • Works with the Creative team and assists with any design updates to our physical booths.
  • Works to identify speaking and presentation opportunities for Mindr brands at trade shows or events.
  • Manages and oversees all expenses related to swag and giveaways.
  • Helps enable Outside sales by preparing presentations and helpful documents to be highlighted as part of our event strategy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is required.
  • 2+ years of experience working in externally facing client management, sales, marketing or B2B liaison role.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously for multiple managers in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Prior experience interfacing with an inside or outside sales team a plus.
  • Must have excellent Microsoft office skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires up to 25% travel.
  • Needs to reside in the Des Moines, IA area to fulfill tradeshow fulfillment requests.

Benefits

  • Salary range is $44,000-$57,000 depending on experience + potential annual bonus incentive + 401(k) + benefits.
