About the position

As a Marketing Specialist II Content Writer at Regal Rexnord, you will be an integral part of the Content Team, responsible for executing the company's content strategy. This role is designed for individuals who possess a deep curiosity about how things work and have a flair for storytelling. You will collaborate closely with fellow writers, creative marketers, strategic marketers, and third-party freelancers to produce a wide range of content aimed at lead generation, brand awareness, and internal communications. The Marketing Department at Regal Rexnord emphasizes teamwork, ensuring that you will frequently engage with subject matter experts, including engineers, to gather insights and information necessary for your writing tasks. Your work will be diverse and intellectually stimulating, reflecting the various industries that Regal Rexnord serves. One day, you might be tasked with writing a technical whitepaper on conveyor belts used in food processing, while the next day could involve crafting a social media post about gearbox repairs in mining operations. This position also offers opportunities for travel across the United States to pursue compelling stories that resonate with our audience. In this role, you will create a variety of content pieces, including technical whitepapers, blog posts, magazine articles, case studies, brochures, social media posts, and internal communications. You will work closely with global subject matter experts to research and develop stories that align with business goals. Coordination with strategic marketing campaign managers will be essential to ensure that all content adheres to established value propositions and aligns with the buyer's journey. You will be expected to produce error-free, on-time copy and conduct interviews with subject matter experts, both virtually and in-person. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and utilize AI tools to streamline your workflow and enhance efficiency, all while demonstrating a passion for writing and maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create a variety of print and digital content pieces, including technical whitepapers, blog posts, magazine articles, case studies, brochures, social media posts, and internal communications.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts globally to research and develop stories in alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate with strategic marketing campaign managers to ensure content adheres to value propositions and aligns with the buyer's journey.
  • Produce error-free, on-time copy as assigned.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person interviews with subject matter experts on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize AI tools to streamline workflow and increase efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a passion for writing and maintain a strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of copywriting or reporting experience.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple campaigns running at the same time and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Willingness to learn about and use the latest AI tools to increase efficiency and optimize copy.
