A successful candidate will possess strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, which are essential for creating compelling content that resonates with the target audience. In this role, the Marketing Specialist II will be responsible for developing and implementing both short- and long-term marketing strategies aimed at increasing awareness of the School of Nursing. This includes working closely with IT personnel to create engaging web content, managing regular posts on social media to promote educational programs and events, and collaborating with the Office of Student Services to produce recruitment materials such as brochures, videos, and other promotional content. The position also involves public relations efforts for new grants, research findings, and various awards and honors received by the School of Nursing. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will play a key role in promoting the School's presence at university events and managing the communication needs of the Dean's office, all while adhering to budgetary constraints and completing special projects as assigned.
