The Marketing Specialist III position at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is a vital role within the Division of Marketing and Development. In addition to project management, the Marketing Specialist III will compile requests from the general public for information concerning the State Markets and other agriculture-related inquiries. This position also requires managing commodity reports and sales, providing direct support to the Gadsden State Farmers Market, and preparing various financial documents such as purchase requisitions, billing documents, and bank deposits. The role demands a comprehensive working knowledge of general office procedures, databases, and other technical capabilities necessary to achieve superior results in missions, events, and projects. Furthermore, the Marketing Specialist III will assist with budget or contract management and routine correspondence for the Bureau of State Farmers Markets, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
