About the position

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Specialist to join our team! This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be supported by a team that values collaboration and innovation. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and tracking various marketing programs, including email campaigns, social media initiatives, digital marketing strategies, and event planning. You will be responsible for creating marketing materials that align with our brand guidelines, such as technical data sheets, white papers, and sales presentations. Your role will also involve copyrighting, producing creative and technical content, and conducting market research to identify new opportunities for growth. In this position, you will assist Business Development Managers with market development projects, helping to identify opportunities with new customers and developing internal sales collateral. You will coordinate and manage all tradeshow marketing campaigns, including booth design, and will be responsible for proofreading technical content for various marketing channels. Analyzing website analytics and sharing results with the Sales and Business Development teams will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will updating the website with new content and enhancing its search engine optimization (SEO). You will also be tasked with researching, developing, and improving marketing processes to ensure our strategies are effective and aligned with industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and track marketing programs including email, social media, digital campaigns, and events.
  • Create marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines such as technical data sheets, white papers, and sales presentations.
  • Conduct copyrighting, creative, and technical content production.
  • Research market conditions and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Develop lead generation programs.
  • Assist Business Development Managers with market development projects to identify opportunities with new customers and develop internal sales collateral.
  • Coordinate and manage all tradeshow marketing campaigns including booth design.
  • Proofread technical content for content marketing across various channels.
  • Analyze website analytics and share results with Sales and Business Development teams.
  • Update website with new content and enhance its search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Research, develop, and improve marketing processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • A bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, or a related field.
  • An online design portfolio including copyright samples.
