Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research to find consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
  • Brainstorming and developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Assisting in outbound or inbound marketing activities such as content development, advertising, and events planning.
  • Liaising with the Wildcat Stores team and Marketing Committee to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Collaborating with the Wildcat Stores and WSU Marketing & Communications teams to coordinate marketing efforts.
  • Planning and executing initiatives to reach the target audience through channels like social media, e-mail, and digital displays.
  • Assisting in analyzing marketing data to shape future marketing strategies.
  • Generating and maintaining content on digital menu displays.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO and social media.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Ability to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas.
  • Well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles, and tactics.
  • Solid computer skills, including Mac and Windows Office suites, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords).
  • Well organized and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development tools.
