About the position

As the Marketing Specialist at DSA, your mission is to expand our brand identity by leading and executing a comprehensive marketing plan. You'll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth while staying informed about market trends and the competitive landscape. Your ability to translate concepts into actionable plans and communicate them clearly to stakeholders will be critical. This position requires a proactive approach to marketing, with a focus on both traditional and digital strategies to enhance the company's visibility and engagement with customers. In this role, you will coordinate product launch timelines by collaborating with product developers, engineers, and sales management to plan and execute product launches from concept to implementation. You will also enhance product sustainability by recommending modifications to products, packaging, and production processes to improve environmental soundness and sustainability. Conducting customer surveys to gather insights through customer service satisfaction surveys and market research will be part of your responsibilities. You will manage events and tours, independently coordinating customer production facility tours, trade shows, and sales-related company events. This includes overseeing logistics, registrations, vendors, itineraries, and marketing collateral. Additionally, you will execute email campaigns, coordinating product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, scheduling, testing, and database management. Crafting compelling copy for various marketing channels while ensuring a consistent brand voice will be essential. Monitoring campaign performance by continuously analyzing key metrics and generating comprehensive reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness is a key responsibility. You will also develop promotional materials, expand and enhance customer loyalty programs, samples, and display fixtures. Managing and curating content for the company website and social media platforms will be part of your daily tasks. Resolving issues with stakeholders, including challenges related to copyright infringement, royalty sharing, and external influencers, will require collaboration with management. Lastly, overseeing the ordering process and distribution of marketing collateral to outside sales teams will ensure that sales representatives and customers have the necessary materials to effectively promote our products and services. Additional duties may be assigned by leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of marketing coordinator or specialist experience.
  • 3-4 years of expert use in graphic design software and other toolsets.
  • Bachelor's Degree ideally in marketing, management, business, communications, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of marketing principles.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to synthesize content into compelling messages.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, including content marketing and social media marketing.
  • Quick learner with the ability to rapidly grasp knowledge of company products.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital graphic programs.
  • Familiarity with SAGE CRM or other CRM tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Adaptability to handle tight timelines, feedback, and pressure.
  • Creative thinker who stays abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
