About the position

As a Marketing Specialist at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives and assisting individual producers in nurturing and developing engaged leads. Your responsibilities will include content management, where you will collaborate with the UMW marketing communications team to create and manage content that reflects the MMA brand across multiple platforms, including our website and social media. You will be responsible for designing and executing marketing email campaigns, such as newsletters and event invitations, and supporting producers with graphic design needs. Additionally, you will leverage tools like Qualtrics to build client and prospect surveys and utilize sales/CRM platforms like Salesforce and Pardot to enhance our marketing efforts. In terms of event execution, you will assist in the lifecycle of webinars and seminars, from registration setup to promotion and attendance reporting. You will coordinate with the regional Sales Enablement team to promote upcoming events and develop automation for event-related tasks. Your role will also involve maintaining strong relationships with industry associations and providing support for company executives during external speaking engagements. Furthermore, you will support internal client experiences by creating prospect marketing materials and ensuring that MMA employees receive timely information about events. This position requires a self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Responsibilities

  • Support marketing efforts and individual producers in nurturing and developing engaged leads.
  • Develop content that upholds the MMA brand across various channels, including the website and social media.
  • Create and deliver marketing email campaigns, including newsletters and event invites.
  • Assist producers with graphic design needs and execute capabilities presentations from existing templates.
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to execute sales enablement campaigns utilizing the content library.
  • Leverage Qualtrics to build client and prospect surveys.
  • Understand and leverage sales/CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Assist with various projects or assignments, collaborating with human resources and other offices.
  • Assist in the lifecycle of webinars and seminars, including registration setup and promotion.
  • Coordinate booth setup and staffing for external tradeshows and events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry associations.
  • Support company executives with external speaking engagements, including compiling materials and scheduling practice sessions.
  • Ensure new leads generated from events are added into the CRM database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of marketing experience.
  • Graphic design knowledge, including proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools; willingness to attend training sessions.
  • Familiarity with Pardot or another marketing automation platform (e.g., Hubspot, Constant Contact).
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills for successful daily interactions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both in person and through various communication channels.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate employee group benefit products.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
