About the position

As an Insurance Marketing Specialist at Farmers Insurance Agency, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer acquisition and enhancing brand awareness. This role involves collaboration with sales, product, and customer service teams to create impactful strategies that resonate with both potential and existing clients, ultimately contributing to increased market share and positioning the agency as an industry leader.

Responsibilities

• Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to secure appointments for agent/agency producer follow-up.
• Obtain basic prospect information such as name, address, and payment method, as well as current insurance and risk information.
• Schedule appointments for agent/agency producer to meet with prospective customers.
• Telephone or write letters/emails in response to correspondence from customers, or to follow up on initial sales contacts.
• Deliver prepared sales discussions, reading from scripts that persuade potential prospects to meet with agent/Agency Producers with the intent to purchase insurance products.
• Actively pursue defector opportunities.
• Help to develop new marketing methods/lead sources.
• Maintain ROI records for multiple lead sources.
• Have an active role in lead flow management and work with newer marketers to maintain steady access to leads/prospects.
• Research membership to appropriate networking groups or associations and possibly join groups/associations to market the agency.
