About the position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our team at Pro-Fab. This role involves developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans to attract new customers, particularly in the construction and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with excellent communication skills to effectively promote our services and engage potential clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans to obtain new customers.
• Coordinate efforts to establish sales territories, quotas, and goals.
• Travel in the greater Austin area to reach out to potential customers and collaborate with our rigging estimator.
• Reach out to potential customers through cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Attend a weekly meeting to provide sales progress and updates to management.
• Provide data and sales forecasts.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital platforms, including social media, email, and website content.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Manage the company's social media presence by creating engaging posts and interacting with followers.

Requirements

• 2 years of previous marketing/sales experience, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.
• Experience with developing and implementing strategic marketing/sales plans to obtain new customers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Computer skills in applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Canva, website design, and social media posting.
• Effective at managing own time and workload.
