The Sales and Marketing Specialist will generate sales through referral source networking. Marketing will be in both medical and non-medical environments. This role is responsible for reporting results to the owner on a weekly basis, discussing successes and opportunities, and revisiting the Marketing/Networking/Business Plan. The primary goal of this position is to achieve new revenue objectives for the assigned territory, which includes targeting accounts such as hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, and funeral homes. The Sales and Marketing Specialist will perform all phases of sales activities for the assigned territory, including cold calls, follow-up calls, analysis of client needs, presentations of services, servicing existing customer accounts, and necessary follow-ups. Additionally, the specialist will establish a networking plan and actively use it as a working tool, which will be revisited as requested. Tracking all activity electronically is essential, and participation in all scheduled regular meetings is required. The specialist will also monitor all competitive activity and trends within the territory to stay informed and proactive in their approach.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of measured success in sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Basic computer skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate changing business conditions and take appropriate action.
