The Marketing Specialist position is a vital role within the firm, reporting directly to the Director of Business Development. This role is primarily focused on managing the firm's digital marketing and proposal processes while fostering a culture of successful business development within the architectural, engineering, construction (A/E/C), and transit market research sectors. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including proposal preparation, branding, social media management, and maintaining the company website. In terms of proposal production, the Marketing Specialist will coordinate and manage the proposal processes for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs). This includes supporting the firm's marketing and communication initiatives by preparing and coordinating various documents such as proposals, resumes, qualifications, presentations, letters, reports, brochures, and press releases. The role requires ensuring quality results by adhering to proposal writing standards, managing multiple revisions, and maintaining a consistent message and tone throughout the proposals. The Marketing Specialist will also facilitate kick-off meetings and collaborate with senior management, Subject Matter Experts, engineers, project managers, and technical staff to develop innovative technical approaches and sound solutions. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will create professional marketing materials, maintain a marketing database, and manage the firm's online presence, including updates to the website and social media profiles. The role also involves capturing and analyzing key social media metrics and coordinating special projects such as conferences and client events. In the realm of business development, the Marketing Specialist will monitor electronic sources for upcoming opportunities, represent the company at meetings and events, and maintain the CRM system. This position is essential for supporting the firm's growth and ensuring that marketing efforts align with business objectives.
