D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead the development of a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for the division while ensuring brand consistency. The ideal candidate will coordinate with the Sales Manager to develop and manage the marketing and communication plan, supporting sales area managers, marketing personnel, and relevant division personnel to ensure the marketing plan is executed in line with the division goals. This role involves a variety of marketing and sales initiatives, including project positioning, timelines, social media management, sales center and model design/setup, advertising, signage, collateral design, and digital marketing efforts. The Marketing Specialist will assist in coordinating with third-party vendors, including signage companies, model decorators, and digital advertising vendors. They will also work with other departments to create and maintain marketing materials and community identity. The role requires updating, maintaining, and creating website presences on a division, community, and home-specific level, as well as completing website changes and updates through the company's content management platform, Content Management System (CMS). In addition to these responsibilities, the Marketing Specialist will gather estimates and sources for marketing and sales initiatives, update and maintain the vendor database, organize community marketing files, and maintain marketing collateral inventory. Ensuring brand standards are maintained for all projects is crucial, as is overseeing social media and online reputation for all communities. The role also includes executing e-blast campaigns, assisting in daily administrative responsibilities, coordinating and managing marketing events at sales centers, and assisting in training and marketing best practices or new tools/platforms. The candidate must be able to work overtime, travel overnight, and lift as necessary, while also being able to travel independently from job site to job site.
