About the position

The Marketing Specialist at Foushée plays a crucial role in the Business Development and Marketing team, focusing on the strategic pursuit of projects and customers that align with the company's strengths. This position is primarily responsible for leading the proposal development process, collaborating with various teams to create compelling proposals that highlight Foushée's capabilities and differentiate it from competitors. The role involves content creation, marketing document management, and coordination of company events, all aimed at enhancing the company's visibility and success in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination, preparation, and assemblage of responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify project risks and requirements for content creation.
  • Write cover letters, narrative responses, and project descriptions to showcase Foushée's project management capabilities.
  • Conduct research to position the company effectively for project pursuits.
  • Prepare graphics, photography, and materials for presentations and interviews.
  • Create weekly Labor Report newsletters, monthly Job Shack publications, and quarterly Foushée Foundations publications.
  • Maintain the proposal preparation area with adequate materials and supplies.
  • Proofread and maintain written marketing materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Review proposal outcomes and maintain documentation for best practices.
  • Develop and maintain marketing collateral including brochures and case studies.
  • Maintain marketing files and databases related to clients, projects, and proposals.
  • Assist with Unanet CRM updates and maintain opportunity data.
  • Coordinate electronic direct mail press releases and company advertisements.
  • Manage company events and client gift distribution.
  • Provide administrative support to executives as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of previous related experience, preferably in the commercial construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience in event planning and copywriting related to the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail to ensure marketing materials meet company standards.
  • Experience with CRM database maintenance is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Photography experience and/or drone pilot license.
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple vendors.
