About the position

Gold Tone Music Group is a parent company with six musical manufacturer brands under it, the main one being Gold Tone. We specialize in manufacturing over 160 different instruments including Banjos, Mandolins, Guitars, and Folkternative instruments. Gold Tone offers a fun yet challenging work environment with tremendous growth opportunity. We are seeking a creative and skilled Marketing Specialist to help lead our marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in managing our marketing strategies and ensuring that our brand reaches its full potential in the market. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence, creating and monitoring online advertisements, and assisting in e-commerce operations. You will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our websites, design marketing materials, oversee print materials, and create mockups. Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Excel, and SEO is essential for this position. Additionally, you will manage public relations, oversee the marketing budget, and lead a team of marketing professionals. Your photography and videography skills will be crucial in creating engaging content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and InDesign.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Experience in digital ads management and budgeting.
  • Working knowledge of SEO and KPI tracking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic HTML Code knowledge.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects and/or 2D Graphics.
  • Knowledge of stringed instruments.
