About the position

The Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in driving advertising, promotions, and public relations for Arden Property Group Inc. This position involves conducting market research, analyzing trends, and implementing marketing strategies to enhance the company's presence both onsite and corporately. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to optimize performance and ensure brand consistency across all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and target demographics.
  • Utilize data insights to inform marketing strategies to optimize performance and competitiveness.
  • Maintain knowledge of local and industry market trends.
  • Identify and consult key vendor partners and efficiency tools to enhance marketing performance.
  • Generate new ideas through creative strategy and continuous research.
  • Assist with execution and formulation of prelease objectives and plans.
  • Assess SEO and ILS performance through analytical tools like Google Analytics.
  • Oversee the Mystery shop program and audit customer phone calls for brand consistency.
  • Report findings and support improvement efforts at sites.
  • Conduct site visits to assess curb appeal and signage needs.
  • Develop training materials for team members to execute marketing objectives successfully.
  • Oversee community outreach efforts for individual assets and the company overall.
  • Monitor and report performance progress on ILS and ad sources.
  • Manage and design ads, adjusting as necessary.
  • Coordinate internal newsletters and outreach marketing campaigns.
  • Design, order, and track print collateral for advertising and promotions.
  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews to ensure brand voice consistency.
  • Design and deliver monthly property newsletters and PR requests.
  • Organize onsite photo shoots and FF&E installations as needed.
  • Assist in marketing outreach for recruitment needs through career fairs and LinkedIn.
  • Analyze trend data to suggest course corrections for negative trends.
  • Oversee ordering and installation of portfolio signage.
  • Support the VP of Marketing in assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Degree or background in a marketing-related field preferred.
  • Direct experience working in a marketing role required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the multifamily industry.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
