About the position

Our direct client in Hartford, CT is hiring a Marketing Specialist to join their dynamic team supporting various enterprise initiatives. This role is an hourly paid consulting position working 3 onsite in Hartford and 2 days remotely. The Marketing Specialist will assist the Content Management team in the development of graphic, written, and/or multimedia digital content for marketing initiatives that support our enterprise, business unit, domestic and international partner goals. The specialist will follow established written and multimedia content and design standards and best practices consistent with brand and marketing objectives. In this position, the Marketing Specialist will work within the Content Management System (CMS) and Digital Asset Management System (DAM) to publish new and updated content for assigned websites. It is crucial that the content is formatted consistent with SEO best practices to enhance visibility and engagement. The role also involves collaboration with business stakeholders and other Publishing Specialists on large projects, managing and updating project plans as appropriate. This position is integral to ensuring that marketing initiatives are effectively communicated and aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements
