About the position

The Marketing Strategic Planning and Operations Manager for AI at Meta is responsible for overseeing and coordinating priority programs within the AI Marketing team. This role focuses on ensuring that initiatives align with business goals and are executed with operational excellence. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, and foster inclusive problem-solving by recognizing diverse perspectives. This position is integral to driving operational excellence and shaping marketing strategies and plans.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, manage, and refine organizational operations and ways of working for AI Marketing.
  • Develop efficient processes to manage critical work streams and priority launches.
  • Build and manage work-back schedules, holding the cross-functional AI Marketing team accountable for timely delivery.
  • Facilitate key meetings to drive progress against goals, establish next steps, and resolve blocks.
  • Establish a communication structure to report updates and project status to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of annual planning processes.
  • Identify and structure emerging misalignments, develop solutions, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Define and track organizational-level goals.
  • Communicate across the organization to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve strategic marketing, planning, and operations processes.
  • Distill business insights from resource and headcount management across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to enable informed business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or strategy
  • Demonstrated project management experience with proven organizational skills
  • Experience establishing efficient business operations processes
  • Understanding of the Marketing function and its core competencies
  • Experience collaborating in dynamic, matrixed organizations
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Success in leading complex, cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines
  • Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in consumer marketing
  • Experience in management consulting or in-house strategy and operations
  • Experience in consumer technology, especially Artificial Intelligence
  • MBA or related graduate degree
