About the position

The Marketing Strategy & Planning Manager at Rippling plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the Marketing team. This position is responsible for overseeing marketing performance, driving growth initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support global expansion and enhance the company's marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Own the business line by understanding Marketing performance and leading cross-functional initiatives to drive growth.
  • Drive forecasting for quarterly and annual planning cycles, streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to develop a company planning model and measure monthly targets.
  • Produce executive-ready storytelling on performance against targets by analyzing business segments, product lines, and countries.
  • Develop and orchestrate the internal operating cadence for a global Marketing team to facilitate quick decision-making.
  • Drive stakeholder teams by incentivizing correct outcomes and holding teams accountable through OKRs and dashboards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BizOps, Sales Strategy, Finance, or Consulting.
  • Experience in long-range planning cycles at prior B2B tech companies.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional projects with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and/or Operations teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across executive audiences.
  • Ability to distill complex data sets into simple solutions.
  • High growth mindset and extensive experience creating complex models in spreadsheets.
  • Basic understanding of SQL with an interest in learning.
