About the position

The Digital Operations Specialist role plays a pivotal role on the professional services team supporting our web practice in collaboration with our UX/creative, content, and demand generation team leaders. The Digital Marketing team is responsible for building and evolving a variety of our web applications to support marketing and sales objectives. The Digital Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality user interfaces and exceptional user experiences across our ClubCar.com platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams along with system administrators, vendors, and sales operations to create and manage innovative and seamless web applications. The ideal candidate for this role is a highly organized, detailed, and knowledgeable web development practitioner who fluently speaks the language of web development and technologies, adapts processes, overcomes challenges, and achieves strategic objectives. They will also be skilled at translating stakeholder requests and visions into tangible requirements and specifications, project plans, and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure all information is represented accurately on the website
  • Audit content to refresh or remove outdated information and identify any need for new content
  • Collaborate with creative services and marketing leads to ensure the site is both visually appealing and functional
  • Build out images/graphics and verbiage within the content management system
  • Maintain site calendar to track upcoming site changes, e.g. expiration dates of current promotions or product launch dates
  • Optimize content data verbiage and structures to align with SEO best practices
  • Utilize Google Analytics and SEMRush platforms to understand website trends and customer journeys
  • Create strategies to improve website traffic in conjunction with Digital Lead and Analytics teammates
  • Seek for website user experience improvements via UX/UI structure and visualizations
  • Consistently monitor site links and promptly address broken links as needed
  • Ensure the website complies with the appropriate laws and regulations
  • Ensure all site and software licenses are active and raise awareness ahead of any expirations
  • Partner with digital and creative services to execute email marketing communications via Eloqua or other platforms
  • Experience with management, testing, and implementation of web projects including upgrades, platform migrations
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned to support overarching marketing team needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
  • Min. 2 years of work experience as a website manager or comparable experience
  • Strong familiarity with web Content Management Systems, ideally in headless CMS such as Kontent.AI
  • Problem-solving, organizational and project management skills are critical
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC)
  • Proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, MySQL, and JavaScript
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing robust tracking systems to monitor and analyze digital metrics, focusing on data-driven decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, technologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
