About the position
The Marketing Technology Applications Principal Architect at Vail Resorts is a key strategic role responsible for overseeing the integration of marketing technology tools and systems. This position focuses on enhancing the company's Go-To Market processes through real-time data access and customer marketing orchestration. The role requires a blend of technical expertise in marketing technology and strong leadership skills to drive complex initiatives that support the company's marketing strategies and improve guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and oversee Vail Resorts' tool integrations for marketing applications.
- Lead the transformation of the Data Driven Roadmap using real-time data access and customer marketing orchestration tools.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for marketing technology investments.
- Develop and execute the Digital Data Roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Translate detailed system integration requirements into executive summaries for senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to drive business impact based on go-to-market expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Engineering required.
- 5+ years of experience in designing and developing complex enterprise solutions leveraging data at scale in marketing tooling.
- 3-5+ years in an architect role focusing on real-time data streaming technology architectures.
- Hands-on experience in architecture and design of marketing, advertising, and data platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Azure and Microsoft Cloud Systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Graduate degree or technical certifications in Azure Architecture.
- Knowledge of AI enablement in Marketing Platforms.
- Understanding of GDPR and Cross Country Data Ecosystems.
