About the position

The Marketing Technology Manager at PayPal's Xoom division is responsible for driving the strategy and transformation of the Marketing Technology stack. This role is essential for empowering marketers with the necessary tools and insights to enhance marketing effectiveness and customer engagement. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment with PayPal's marketing technology vision and to facilitate the integration of innovative marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall vision & innovation in the Marketing Technology stack to improve data trust and insights.
  • Own troubleshooting & resolving data breakages in the marketing stack.
  • Act as the team lead and evangelist for navigating vendor platforms such as MMPs, DAMs, and CRMs.
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with Marketing Technology vendors and product teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategy and build effective relationships.
  • Evangelize segment roadmaps and prioritize solutions based on stakeholder input.
  • Work with geo-distributed teams to drive alignment and collaboration across time zones.
  • Document actionable EPICs and user stories to promote Agile best practices.
  • Synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative sources to enhance customer experiences in marketing.
  • Assist in developing a global product strategy and evaluate progress based on customer feedback.
  • Design tests to evaluate solutions and adapt analysis for global implications.
  • Present clearly to executives and influence senior leaders on vision and strategy.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in marketing operations across SaaS implementations.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in the Digital Marketing execution domain.
  • 2-3+ years of experience defining OKRs and measuring KPIs while collaborating with stakeholders.
  • 2-3+ years managing relationships with Marketing Technology stack vendors.
  • Baseline knowledge of the Paid Media landscape (SEM, Social, Display, CRM).
  • Expertise in lead management and collaboration with sales for engagement and conversion.
  • Experience with advertising technology platforms like Google Analytics and Google Marketing Platforms.
  • Process engineering and campaign quality assurance experience.
  • Ability to synthesize information and present it effectively to all levels of the organization.
