About the position

As a Marketing Technology Sr Specialist at JLR, you will play a pivotal role in defining the future of our digital marketing capabilities, with a strong emphasis on Advertising and Marketing Technology. This position is designed to bridge the gap between business needs and technological solutions, transforming the organization to create engaging and highly personalized experiences for our customers. You will serve as an architect for shaping JLR's marketing technology landscape, evaluating, building, and implementing digital marketing tools that improve media ROI and elevate the digital user experience. Your responsibilities will include analyzing JLR's Ad/MarTech maturity, identifying gaps and strengths in areas such as web development, CRM, data onboarding, and marketing automation. You will research, select, and implement marketing technologies that enhance media ROI and campaign performance, while also strengthening data and audience strategies to ensure seamless connections between data and tech pipelines. Leading the product roadmap, you will expand JLR's relationships with key technology partners like Adobe and Salesforce, utilizing tools such as Salesforce Data Cloud to create customer segments for precise targeting and content personalization. Additionally, you will conduct A/B testing using Adobe Target to improve the digital user journey, evaluate new identity solutions, and craft first-party data strategies leveraging Data Clean Rooms. You will explore opportunities to leverage generative AI to enhance ad copy, landing pages, and creative assets, while staying abreast of advancements in AI and machine learning. This role requires a proactive approach, as you will also perform other duties as required to support the marketing technology initiatives at JLR.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing technology or a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of evaluating, selecting, and implementing marketing technologies.
  • Experience with CRM, data management, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technological solutions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be a team-oriented self-starter.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet firm deadlines, while consistently delivering a high standard of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, and must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management.
  • Must have strong business acumen, and the ability to work with people at varying levels within the organization.
