About the position

The Marketing Tradeshow Event Manager will oversee the planning and execution of a significant trade show in Chicago, IL, ensuring all logistics and resources are coordinated effectively. This role requires prior experience in managing trade shows and involves additional responsibilities in marketing communication, including content development and sales collateral management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning and execution of a trade show in Chicago, IL.
  • Coordinate logistics and setup for the trade show.
  • Ensure all events run smoothly by planning and coordinating resources.
  • Manage sales collateral and develop new material for product introductions.
  • Work with Product Management to support new product introductions.
  • Create and execute detailed advertising and promotional plans.
  • Oversee updates and improvements to the company website.
  • Preserve corporate image in all company documents.
  • Lead internal communication efforts within the company and with independent sales representatives.
  • Identify trade show opportunities and secure space for participation.
  • Support independent sales representatives with trade show support and marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate competitive bidding and production of literature revisions.

Requirements

  • Prior experience managing a trade show is a must.
  • Experience in copywriting or content development is helpful.
