About the position

Wintrust is a financial holding company with approximately $50 billion in assets under management, traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker WTFC. The company operates on a "HAVE IT ALL" model, combining the sophisticated technology and resources of a large bank with a focus on service-based community banking. Wintrust has fifteen community bank subsidiaries and over 170 banking locations in the greater Chicago and southern Wisconsin areas. In addition to banking, Wintrust also operates various non-bank business units, including commercial and life insurance premium financing, short-term accounts receivable financing, outsourced administrative services, mortgage origination and purchase, wealth management services, and qualified intermediary services for tax-deferred exchanges. The Marketing Traffic Coordinator (MTC) plays a crucial role in the marketing department, which is currently undergoing a digital transformation to lead the industry with innovative digital banking products and services. This position is at the heart of the marketing operations, ensuring that all marketing requests flow smoothly through the workflows and processes that support the Account Management, Creative, and Digital Activation teams. The MTC will be heavily involved in the use and refinement of the Project Management tool, Workfront, to manage the workloads of the Accounts Team from request intake through project completion. In this role, the MTC will manage project timelines, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and meet the necessary requirements. This involves setting realistic deadlines, balancing workloads among Digital and Creative staff, and account managers, tracking project progress, and assembling assets for projects while maintaining version control. The MTC will also be responsible for monitoring work schedules and prioritizing responsibilities to meet all project deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the workloads of the Accounts Team after request intake through kickoffs/job requests.
  • Maintain and monitor work schedules to track and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and meet the requirements by skillfully setting realistic deadlines.
  • Work closely with Digital & Creative staff and account managers to manage workload balancing to meet all project deadlines.
  • Track project progress and reporting, assembling assets for projects, and maintaining version control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Project Coordination.
  • Experience with Workfront is highly preferred.
  • Agency work experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
