About the position

The Marketing Videographer/Editor at Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. is a creative role focused on crafting compelling visual narratives that highlight the impactful stories of service dogs and their human companions. This position combines technical video production skills with a passion for storytelling, requiring collaboration with various teams to produce high-quality video content in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of Video Production, Associate Producer, and other teams to plan and execute compelling productions.
  • Work under the guidance of the Director of Video Production to deliver polished, high-quality video content.
  • Capture professional, mission-driven visuals with an eye for storytelling.
  • Edit and refine footage to craft emotionally engaging narratives that resonate with audiences.
  • Maintain and operate production equipment, including cameras, audio, lighting, and studio gear.
  • Add creative flair with motion graphics and effects to elevate content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A degree in film, communications, or a related field, or at least 5 years of hands-on video production experience.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional shooting and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Solid understanding of lighting, audio capture, and professional video production workflows.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to incorporate feedback seamlessly.
  • A passion for storytelling and an eagerness to adapt to new challenges.
