About the position

The Videographer Editor at Arrowhead Engineered Products is responsible for creating compelling visual content that reflects the company's mission and lifestyle. This role involves a diverse range of videography and editing tasks, including product demos, brand videos, and documentary-style projects. The position requires strong creative direction, project leadership, and collaboration with the marketing team to deliver high-quality video solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Photo Video Lead and creative team members to execute video solutions for marketing needs.
  • Actively participate in creative discourse with the marketing team to develop effective marketing and advertising solutions.
  • Create video content that promotes WPS house brands and their products, including television commercials and social media videos.
  • Plan and implement all aspects of video production projects.
  • Maintain creative consistency across verticals, ensuring all projects align with the brand strategy and creative vision.
  • Develop and plan storyboards, shot lists, and scripts.
  • Schedule talent and models, acquire featured products, book film locations, and coordinate logistics for required equipment.
  • Input sound to enhance footage, including sourcing music, sound effects, and voice-overs.
  • Design and animate motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Maintain and safeguard all assigned company-owned equipment.
  • Travel as needed to local and remote industry events and video shoots.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
  • Communicate with outside vendors to meet production timelines and job parameters.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, tools, and trends.
  • Create archives and databases of proprietary video and film assets.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of professional videography, editing, and production experience in a creative environment.
  • Highly creative with skills to generate captivating ideas and compelling stories.
  • Superior skills in composition, lighting, design aesthetics, timing, motivation, and continuity.
  • Ability to edit footage with advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Sony Cinema Line Cameras (FX3s), and the setup and operation of audio recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones.
  • Strong understanding of flat log profiles, color correction, and color grading.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized and able to plan video shoots, scout locations, schedule talent, and coordinate logistics.
  • Demonstrates attention to visual detail, spelling, and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently and acquire new knowledge necessary for tasks or projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid Driver's License.
